Hamkam signs new defender from Sweden

Hamkam has signed a new defender from Sweden. Gustav Granath (28) has agreed to a deal with Hamkam and is ready for the 2025 season.

What happened?

Hamkam sold John Olav Norheim to Start for 130,000 euros, and the work to find a new defender started immediately.

Who is Gustav Granath?

Gustav Granath is a Swedish defender who comes to Briskeby from Västerås. He is 191 centimeters tall and has played a lot in a three-man defense. Granath also has experience in Danish Vejle and Degerfors in his home country.

What does this mean for Hamkam?

Hamkam sports director Jørgen Bjørn is very pleased with the transfer and says that Granath is an explosive player. He was among the top three fastest players in Allsvenskan last year. Granath is a very charismatic and approachable type, and Hamkam now has three very good Swedish players in the backline.
